I named this “The Feeling of Being Alive” because on Wednesday I was swimming after thunder…or….I thought the thunder was over but the truth is, it wasn’t.
All of a sudden a bolt of lightning hit very close to the lake. I saw a yellow and red light in front of my eyes and I got an electrical shock sensation through my body.
Soon after that my legs and arms cramped painfully and I couldn’t move them at all. My friends called emergency number and an ambulance took me to the hospital.
After all the cramps were the only symptoms I had but I know that if the bolt of lightning had hit closer to the lake, I could be dead by now.
So, I thank the God I’m still here with you.
